How to Play Legends of the Links Battle

Legends of the Links Battle is the quick version of the trading cards game. Players win by earning victory points through defeating their opponent in the head to head challenges on the cards. The time the game takes can be altered based on how many victory points it takes to win.

3 victory points- 30 minutes of game time, 5 victory points- 1 hour of game time, 7 victory points- 1.5-2 hours of game time.

To Play:

1. Players start with their decks facedown, and flip over the top card of their deck.
2. Players will then add together their card’s attack and defense value
3. The player whose card has the higher value will select which challenge they want to compete in between the two cards that were flipped over.
4. Players will then compete in the challenge according to the rules on that card. The winning player gets a victory point!
5. First player to reach the agreed upon victory count is the winner!

*If a player flips over an advantage card, this card can be saved and used at anytime during the game. Once an advantage card is used it cannot be used again.

**When the advantage card is first flipped the opposing player’s card is automatically chosen for the challenge.
